Today on the breakfast show, Skirvo spoke to Heather Chong who is the District Governor of the Rotary District of Tasmania about an exciting coo for the West Coast, in particular Strahan. Nestlé Professional has handpicked the town of Strahan to feature on new, limited-edition tins of Nescafé Blend 43. The tins are part of the new ‘Celebrate Community Spirit’ collection. The collection showcases six Australian towns on tins of Nescafé Blend 43. Each town was chosen because they all demonstrate individual examples of community spirit and solidify unity, togetherness, and what it means to be Australian. The illustration on the 1kg tin is inspired by the Mount Lyell Strahan Picnic as this event captures the unique spirit of Strahan and the rich culture of the community.
In addition to these limited-edition tins, Nestlé Professional has donated $5,000 to the Rotary District of Tasmania which will be used to help fund the Mount Lyell Strahan Picnic.
Nestlé Professional has also gifted the Rotary District of Tasmania with over 192 limited-edition Nescafé Blend 43 Strahan tins, which the Club will sell, or donate to the local community, with any profits retained by the Club.
