"I asked Cities and Memory to allocate me a random field recording which seemed a fun way to approach this. I listened through to the recording only once and then decided to cut up the recording into small fragments and begin to assemble a piece this way.
"It was made in a very haphazard way and after a short while I had a basic cut up section that I then recorded and improvised on top of, adding beats and synth sounds and effects. It felt like a jam and I didn't tidy it up too much, rather liking the fragmented nature of the piece."
