Halloween is drawing closer, so what better time to go on the hunt for some ghosts! This week, author and historian Marc Hartzman joins me to discuss his marvellous new book, Chasing Ghosts in the first of four upcoming Halloween episodes.

It's a book that takes you back to those wonderful books of your childhood, full of fantastic images and photographs. The book offers us an overview of the paranormal as Marc acts as our guide.

Marc and I dive into the birth of spiritualism in the mid 19th century and look at some of the more notorious characters from the era. We meet the infamous Fox sisters, the deceptive Davenport brothers, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and more. Marc was a great guest and I hope you enjoy our trip into the world of spiritualism.
