Giardino di Villa Strozzi, Florence, reimagined by Sarah Knudtson.
"The sounds of the Giardino di Villa Strozzi reminded me of dusk and I imagined a magical stroll along its wooded paths. As I began to play with remixing the recording I suddenly remembered a series of anti-records I had created from discs I had inherited from my grandmother. Looking through the abandoned project, I found an Italian record called, La Voce di Wilma Doich and began to make recordings by dropping the needle on the scratched and shattered surface as it spun on the turntable. The title was taken from the song, Io Non Ci Saro, which references my absence from the garden and the absence of my grandmother."
