A Dark Place to Play

Jul 06, 2018, 02:03 AM

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys start the show off talking about how Kyle's twins were recently nabbed by the local Police for climbing up on top of a nearby neighborhood church. They didn't get into any trouble but it did squash any hopes of becoming a professional at parkour. Then, researchers from Montreal’s National Institute of Scientific Research (INRS) just published a study in Optica detailing a new approach to invisibility cloaking. Their device, called a spectral invisibility cloak, is the first to manipulate the color (or frequency) of the light waves that interact with an object, rendering it invisible.

Then, a woman in Cleburne County, Arkansas says she saw a bipedal creature with a wolf head. The sighting happened back on June 15th, 2018. The woman said she was driving home in the daylight and need to stop along side the road in order to make a phone call. While using the phone she noticed something dark moving in the woods. What appeared was a large doglike creature walking upright on two legs. The sighting reportedly lasted about three minutes but the eyewitness said she was not able to snatch a photograph or video.

After the break Cam talks about some very creepy haunted playgrounds. You've heard tales of haunted houses and amusement parks - but haunted playgrounds provide plenty of creepy stories as well. Playground ghost stories are made even eerier by the presence of ghostly children, who are rumored to drift through yards located at former insane asylums, abandoned schools, and even the middle of cemeteries. Swings that move on their own. Children's laughter echoing when there are no kids present. Ghostly apparitions. All are rumored to plague these creepy playgrounds. These sites are still standing, but remember that trespassing in closed areas is not a wise decision. Besides the criminal charges you may face, these scary playground stories warn of the chilling fate that could await you at the bottom of that slide.
