HOW TO MAKE AMENDS AND GET CLOSURE ON RELATIONSHIPS!

Have you ever taken the time to evaluate your current relationships and ask yourself how they fit into your life, and whether or not they are helping you grow or holding you back? Do you feel like there may be a few friendships you are holding on to that may no longer serve you?
On the contrary, are there people in your life who you were really good friends with at one point that you haven’t talked to in a long time over some falling out? Do you feel like there was never any closure and you often think about contacting them in an attempt to get that closure?
What does closure even look like? Closure should be a candid, ADULT conversation with someone you would like to clear the air with. It should be an opportunity to listen, and to be heard. Sometimes this conversation can lead to a second chance at the friendship, and other times it will leave you both with some clarity and confirmation as to why you are no longer in each other’s lives, and that is OK. Please be sure NOT to pass judgement.
