I have always been an avid goal-setter. In fact, it is one of the topics I regularly train people in as I know setting goals is an important part of strengthening self-confidence as it helps shape and revise how you define yourself. Setting goals and achieving them adds to your sense of accomplishment. Setting goals and achieving them changes the damaging beliefs you hold on to about yourself. Setting goals and achieving them will give you greater confidence to try new activities and push yourself further than you thought possible.

As well as setting goals to boost your confidence and achieving results into the future, it is essential that you also set intentions.
What is the difference you might ask? There are three differences between a goal and an intention.
β€’ Goals are focused on the future. Intentions are in the present moment.
β€’ Goals are a destination or specific achievement. Intentions are lived each day, independent of achieving the goal or destination.
β€’ Goals are external achievements. Intentions are about your relationship with yourself and others.

Setting intentions for your day, your business, your life provides you with the motivation to overcome hurdles.
