Bells in Pomonte, Italy reimagined by Phexioenesystems.
"This piece is based on a field recording of church bells and the surrounding ambience from Pomonte on the Island of Elba.
"The bells themselves are used in multiple ways: pitched to fit with the Hexany tuning system (but otherwise untreated) and as a granulised layer.
"The remaining ambience is also left untreated but appears with bell-like envelopes across the track. The additional tones and textures are also intentionally bell-like, with stochastic bursts throughout.
"The titles 'Stepping Stones' is a reference to Via del Passatoio, on which the church sits."
