Episode #5 - Think Of The Rabbits
U.S. ELECTION SPECIAL: Will Tuesday, November 8th be the end of the world as we know it? In our first ever themed episode, we're joined by British political activist Megan, who's traveled to the States to volunteer on the Hillary Clinton campaign, in order to talk about the aspects of the election cycle that have gotten us the most fired up - everything from the Will and Grace reunion to why non-compulsory voting is a thing. Brittany defends her Republican friends, Ariana's glad that people now believe that racism still exists, Megan's got a laundry list of happy and hopeful Hillary hypes, and Natalie's just excited for the Secretary of Balloons.
Please note that this episode contains very partisan views about the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election. While Not About The Weather will always be a show grounded in personal opinion, we appreciate that some people may not wish to hear two hours of intense political discussion on a podcast they signed up to purely for pop culture commentary. If that's how you feel, we fully understand this and encourage you to skip this episode and return to us next week when things will be back to normal.
BUT DO GO AND VOTE, PLEASE.
Each episode, our Not About The Weather hosts and their guests will bring an obsession to share and a grievance to air from the their experiences in the world of pop culture, fandom, or sometimes, just plain old life.
