How to avoid buying a bad flip house
Episode 81, Sep 15, 2021, 09:04 AM
Thanks to various house flipping shows and the fact that we've had nearly 10 years of a seller's market, pretty much anyone and everyone thinks they can flip a house. As a result, there are a lot of homes being remodeled by people who have never done a house remodel before. Oftentimes, these novices think you can just replace flooring and paint and then sell a home for $50,000 more than you bought it for. Unfortunately, however, what frequently happens in these situations is that major problems with the house are overlooked, and many of these things won't be caught until a buyer goes under contract to purchase the house and starts having inspections done. But there are some things to look for that can help you quickly determine if a house flip was done the right way or not, and this is the topic of this week's episode of Selling Greenville!
