Episode 1722,   Aug 20, 2021, 12:11 PM

Edith Tani Bargoma works as an Administrative officer with UNMISS' field office in Yei.
One of Edith Bargoma’s earliest volunteer memory was when she was eight and helped the flight attendants on British Airways serve a meal. She takes absolute joy in service to humanity. When she was 14 years old, she volunteered as a clown, going to elderly convalescent homes to bring cheer to the residents. Ms. Bargoma has also volunteered in her community in various ways, from cleaning the neighborhood to teaching Sunday School as well as serving as a camp counselor and mentorship for vulnerable populations. Currently, Ms. Bargoma is volunteering as an Administrative Officer with UNMISS and has been doing so since October 2018. She hails from Stockton, California, aka the food basket, aka wine country. It is no surprise that she is adept at growing things, including the thriving farm she has created in her duty station, Yei-COB.
Her favorite quote: “The choices you make determine the life you live.”
