Sant’Egidio community engages government and hold-out groups to return to negotiation table

The Sant’Egidio community mediating talks between the government and Holdout groups says, it is exerting efforts to bring the government and hold out groups back to the negotiation table. 

Speaking to Radio Miraya's Agole Alex on the line from Rome, the Secretary-general of the Community of Sant'Egidio, Paolo Impagliazzo, said they are concerned about the rise in violence between the government and the holdout groups, and says they are in touch with the parties to reduce the violence and pursue dialogue to resolve their grievances. 

Paolo says  they are  confident of returning the parties to the negotiating table to recommit to the cessation of hostilities declaration and reach a peaceful settlement
