Birdsong and sirens, Riyadh

One of our earliest recordings from Saudi Arabia, sadly only able to be captured on a mobile phone, but evocative of the soundscape nonetheless. In 40 degree heat outside the Marriott hotel, we can hear police sirens in the distance, the heavy drone of Riyadh's constant traffic, and a light chorus of birdsong in the hotel garden.
