1. Choose your words wisely
β’ Donβt say inside, what you cannot say outside.
Your inner voice can have the most damaging effect on your inner peace. Be kind to yourself. Support and comfort yourself with your words. Gift yourself with words that boost your confidence rather than diminishing it.
β’ Donβt say anything unless it is true, useful, or kind.
Such a simple statement but one that challenges most of us when we are in a situation of stress. Devaluing others is usually a symptom of low self-esteem and often a reflection of how we view ourselves. Recognise when you find you are saying things that arenβt supportive and stop. You wonβt find your own truth if you are focused on devaluing others. Donβt say anything to anyone unless you can say it to everyone.
