The Titans of Schmigadoon!
Is that a show tune playing faintly in the distance in that town called Schmigadoon? Maybe it's the call of a Hawk or Dove? Whether you fear the paranormal and vampires or you're just worried that a giant starfish from space is coming to get you, this episode of Flame ON! will help keep you safe and sound during these uncertain times!
The summer is sizzling by and while storms roll past the Southeast and the Midwest, the boys of Flame ON! have reconvened to bring their favorite pop culture topics to the round table to discuss them for you. Tickling their fancies this month are a range of topics that they're ready to chat about so they kick off the discussion with the Apple TV+ show that is on everyone's lips (and playlists), Schmigadoon! If you're a fan of musical theater, parodies, or just Kristin Chenowith (even as a side character), then Schmigadoon! is the show for you. After that the boys hop into a discussion about James Gunn's newest superhero film, DC's The Suicide Squad, currently in theaters and on HBO Max. Did the boys like it? Was Harley Quinn the best part or too over powered for the film? Did Sly Stallone do the motion capture for King Shark? The boys discuss all of that and more! After a quick break to shout out more members of our Patreon family and a station identification break, they come back chatting the What We Do In The Shadows spin off, Wellington Paranormal on HBO Max including some highlights and spoilertastic plot points for season two. The last topic of the episode dives into the third season of DC's Titans now exclusive to HBO Max. Has the storytelling gotten better? Does Scarecrow turn on one of the boys in ways he never thought would happen? Did they really just make one of the boys horny on main for a naked Hawk before they blew him... to pieces? You'll have to listen to find out! After one last commercial break the boys are back with their 1UPs AKA the pop culture that is giving them LIFE this month!
Sit back and get ready to FLAME ON!
