SPLM-IO party says the resignation of the Minister of Mining is due to personal reasons

The SPLM-IO party says the resignation of the Minister of Mining is due to personal reasons and has nothing to do with the current internal wrangles within the party.

Henry Odwar who is also the deputy chairperson of SPLM-IO’s resignation caused public stir last evening, but according to Puok Both Buluang, Spokesperson in the office of the first Vice President, Odwar only resigned from the cabinet, but  remains the deputy chairperson of the party.

“Hon. Henry Odwar has been under treatment in Canada for almost a year now and based on the prescriptions of the doctors, he decided to not assume that position due to health issues.
