Two people killed and three others wounded in an ambush along the Juba – Nimule Road

Police say two people  have been killed and three others wounded in an ambush along the Juba – Nimule Road. 

A commercial vehicle with six passengers was attacked around Kerepi leaving a 22-year-old man, and an eleven year-old girl, dead. One person is reported missing.

Police Spokesperson, Maj Gen Daniel Justin, says the  injured are being treated in a hospital in Juba. 

He cautions travelers to travel with security convoys for their safety.

“We have been appealing to the public that whenever it is necessary to travel let them coordinate with us because we will alert our forces on the ground, or we can give them escort to assist them travel. But many people don’t listen to us and as a result such cases happen.
