SPLM-IO Welcomes IGAD resolutions

SPLM-IO has welcomed the call of the Inter- governmental Authority on Development- IGAD council of ministers, for the party resolve its internal problems through dialogue. 

SPLM-IO Director of Information and Public Information, Puok Both Baluang says that while the resolutions are good, they fell short of addressing the root cause of the split in the SPLM/A-IO.

He says the split within SPLA-IO has been  mainly caused by the delay in the implementation the security arrangements.

Both Baluang welcomed the decision of the chairman of IGAD to come to Juba to discuss the situation with the leadership of the SPLM-IO.
