IGAD Special Envoy for South Sudan -"Principals discuss ratio sharing for unified command of the organized forces"

The IGAD Special Envoy for South Sudan, has confirmed that the principals to the peace agreement are discussing a proposal on ratio sharing for the unified command of the organized forces. The formation of the top military structure is a key element of the transitional security arrangements, and for the graduation of the necessary unified forces. IGAD Special Envoy, Ambassador Ismail Wais told Radio Miraya's Sani Martin that the parties are trying to reach a consensus on the ratio of the unified command structure that will oversee the necessary unified forces.
