At the the time of recording, Deportivo Tachira, Caracas, and Deportivo La Guaira were top of their respective groups, while Trujillanos, Lala FC, and Carabobo were sitting bottom of each. With Venezuela set to host the U20 South American Championships later this year, plenty of young talent is on show and doing their best to earn a place in Martin Carrillo's squad, as are a number of foreign imports looking to use the league's growing profile as a stepping stone for the rest of their career.
