Union of Journalists of South Sudan engages government and other stakeholders to improve the working environment of journalist

The Union of Journalists of South Sudan – UJOSS is engaging government and other stakeholders to improve the working environment of journalists.  This follows the release of state media broadcaster, Alfred Dominic Angassi after one week of detention by security agents for what is described as an administrative matter. UJOSS President, Oyet Patrick Charles says Dominic was freed and reunited with his family on Saturday. Patrick says with peace agreement being implemented; journalists require a conducive environment to operate in order to the keep the public informed. He spoke exclusively to Radio Miraya's Lwak Nelson
