Season 2, Jul 24, 2021, 05:00 AM
A Podcast about inspiration, made by the young people at our youth charity
We work to transform the lives of Young Carers and Hospital Patients in London,
by inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
We spoke with Professor Leslie Thomas QC, one of the top barristers in the country and a leading expert in civil rights. We asked him about his Career, his advice on knowing your rights when interacting with the police and he also spoke about of the families he has supported and notable cases in his career. We have split this talk into 2 parts as there was so much great advice we didnt want to miss anything!
I would like to say that the topics spoken about in this episode are very serious, and some may find distressing, if any listener would like to get in contact with us to find out more please do. These conversations are for educational purposes and we’d like to say a massive thank you to Professor Leslie Thomas QC for speaking with us and giving us all an opportunity to learn. Thank you
This talk was made possible through a partnership with MTYBA, Middle Temple Young Barristers Association, Thank you Emma from MTYBA for organising and hosting this event. Thank you to all the guests, students and RF young people that joined us.
