Unity state tops the 2020 primary school leaving examinations

Authorities in Unity state have expressed joy as the state emerges the best in the 2020 primary leaving examinations, despite many schools being devastated by conflict.
The State Ministry of General Education and Instruction on Monday announced results of candidates in the state with an average overall of 96.5%.
State minister Stephen Tot Chieng says the good performance is due to concerted efforts by both teachers and pupils in the state.
He says plans are underway to rehabilitate schools destroyed in conflict in Unity State.
