Ski lift, Sella Brunech

We're 2,428 metres up in the Italian Dolomites, at Canazei - up here in the mountains by the ski lift all you can hear is the gentle clanking of the lift performing its duties, with the occasional bit of chatter from a mountain walker, or a hint of birdsong. 

I love the purity of the sound up in the mountains, with every element neatly separated out into its own compartment in the soundscape. Recorded by Cities and Memory.
