Blind Runners Wanted For A Challenge First In Bristol

When blind runner Chris Blackabee was looking for a guide runner to take part in an international marathon with him, he took to social media and met Colin Johnson.

Now the pair have created a running group in Bristol for visually impaired runners and Colin has trained guide runners, across the UK.

There next project is to get as many blind runners and guides to take part in The Great Bristol Run, 10K event, which will have specific places and medals for the VI category.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Colin and Chris to learn more about the running group and the Bristol 10k, September 2021, event.
