Queen's Honour For Blind Golfer Who Rebuilt His Life After Sight Loss

When Drew Cochrane, from Ballymena, lost his sight, his world collapsed, depression set in and he even considered suicide.

After a chance encounter, the game of golf became his way back to loving life and touring the world playing in tournaments.

Drew has now published a book about his life story, "From The Carry Row To Tokyo" to show that his life actually began after losing his sight.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Drew to learn more about his story, the game of golf and his book of hope.
