AMONG the headlines for Wednesday, 16 June, 2021, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has detained four suspects, including a civil servant, for suspected graft in a RM42 million government procurement deal involving an enforcement agency.
All suspects, aged between 32 and 61, were detained at around 10pm last night and will be remanded for six days.
Also, the Israeli military said its aircraft attacked Hamas armed compounds in Gaza City and the southern town of Khan Yunis, in response to the launching of incendiary balloons from the territory that caused fires in fields in southern Israel.
