AMONG the headlines for Friday, 21 May, 2021, Malaysia’s Ministry of Health reports another 6,493 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours.
Selangor continues to lead with 2,163 cases, followed by Sarawak with 612 and Kelantan with 467.
This brings the total cumulative cases to 498,795 since the pandemic hit the country.
Also, the K-pop megaband BTS reveals a new single, "Butter," which had over 3.89 million concurrent viewers when the tune debuted Thursday night and within an hour amassed over 21 million views.
The premiere of "Butter," which is the band's second English-language track, shattered the YouTube record which they previously set last with the release of "Dynamite."
