The average American generates 81 pounds of textile waste each year, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, with millions of pounds of clothing ending up in US landfills each year.  And with COVID-19 hygiene concerns challenging the donation pipeline, it’s only expected to get worse. Leader in laundry innovation, LG Electronics is taking action to help with a seven-city west coast tour inviting people to donate clothing through May 9th.
