A Veterinary Student's Wild and Magical Road to Zoological Medicine

Christian Capobianco is a second-year veterinary student at North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, he is interested in pursuing a career in zoological, wildlife, and exotic animal medicine. He is also passionate about education and has a background in both formal and informal instruction. Christian has gained relevant clinical and research experience at institutions including Zoo Miami, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute. He currently works at a number of local veterinary emergency clinics as a relief ER / ICU assistant and has been featured as a veterinary student extern on the hit television show, "Dr. K's Exotic Animal ER" on Nat Geo Wild.
