Heavy rains predicted in many parts of South Sudan for the next three months

The National Meteorological Department says heavy rains are expected in many parts of South Sudan for the next three months. The department says the outlook from April to June indicates above normal rainfall in eastern part of the country including Kapoeta, Jonglei and Pibor administrative area, while western side of the country experiences below normal rainfall. A weather forecaster, Bedredin Fartak, says the seasonal rain patterns are encouraging and is calling on farmers to take to their farms.
