True Hero’s Journey with Viiga Fuailetolo

What is a hero to you? The longer I’m on the planet the more I become clear on what I respect in others. The people I admire most are kind, compassionate, care about their family and find the courage within themselves to heal. 

In this week's episode, I am so honored to speak with a man that I admire so much! I have watched him overcome some of life’s biggest challenges. After experiencing sexual abuse, prison and self-hatred he has risen up and faced his past to create positive change. He opens up to share with us his journey and gives wise advice to anyone who is struggling in life. You are worthy and deserve love! I can’t wait for you to hear from this beautiful man!  

Viiga Fuailetolo is a husband and father. He has been married to the love of his life for 21 years. They have four amazing children that they adore. He grew up in Long Beach California where there was a lot of gang activity. He ended up going to prison for a few years and then soon after he was released he met his wife. They got married and started their life together. He had a lot of trauma from his past that he had pushed down and tried to ignore. The pain from his past continued to cause problems in his life eventually leading him to a place of severe depression. Out of desperation he finally decided to step on the path of healing and hasn’t looked back. He now lives a life filled with joy, fulfillment and self love!
