Rights body to secure release of 14 inmates on death row

The Justice and Human Rights Observatory, a human rights campaign group and legal aid service provider, says it has received the green light from the families of 14 inmates on death row in Juba Central Prison to initiate reconciliation between the two families. The convicts all from Eastern Equatoria were remanded recently for offenses ranging from murder to inflicting body injuries which resulted to death. The Executive Director of the Justice and Human Rights Observatory Godfrey Victor Bulla, says this follows a series of consultations with the concerned families who all agreed on the payment of blood and financial compensation. He spoke to Miraya's Agole Alex
