LSE Limelight #26: A Neurodiversity Officer
Episode 70, Jan 18, 2021, 09:48 PM
“There needs to be someone to start to dispel the confusion and dismantle the stigma of what neurodiversity means.” – Sam Crutcher, second-year International Social and Public Policy.
This year, there is one free spot for a new part-time student officer within LSE. Sam Crutcher is advocating for a Neurodiversity Officer, to represent a part of the student body that he believes receives no institutional attention. Up for vote this Thursday, Sam is hoping to introduce support that is specific for neurodiverse students, whilst raising awareness for this issue.
This motion goes live between Thursday 21/01 19:00 (GMT) and Friday 22/01 17:00 (GMT). 250 votes are needed within this 22-hour window to create much-needed support for neurodiverse students.
