women are struggling with mommy issues just like men. We discuss at times men have mommy issues and women having daddy issues but we never really discuss women having mommy issues. And as you stated mommy issues develop when the mother failed in her role as a mother or absent in the daughter’s life, which is the same as daddy issues.
