Blind Contestant Returns To Christmas Master Chef

Earlier in 2020, Amar Latif became the first blind contestant to appear, and compete, on BBC1's Master Chef.

Using accessible gadgets and cooking utensils, Amar progressed through several rounds of the show, surprising himself.

Now he's been invited back to take part in a festive edition of the popular cookery show.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Amar, ahead of the broadcast, to talk food, sight loss and why he enjoyed taking part so much!

The show will be on, in the UK, on BBC1 at 9pm on Wednesday 23rd December 2020.
