Panto Time, Live And Online, With Audio Description.

For many blind and partially sighted people, audio description allows them to fully enjoy the live theatre experience.

The system allows them to hear, via a headset, what's going on physically on stage via a describer, who talks between the actors dialogue.

However, with many performances having to move online, there is a drive to have more of the virtual offerings described.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Anne Hornsby, from MindsEye Arts, to look at some audio described Pantos, still performing in theatres, and some being hosted virtually.
