Dr. Michael Eric Dyson
Episode 42, Dec 17, 2020, 02:00 AM
Dr. Michael Eric Dyson sits down with Clay to discuss the current state of race in the country and the current fissures that need to be healed for us to come together. And despite the negative press, they both find hope in the future ahead of us!
Clay is joined by Dr. Michael Eric Dyson to discuss the revolutionary character of 2020 and what it means for our politics, our race relations and how we're all going to get along. The verdict is that we have a lot of work to do, but between the First Step Act, the Black Lives Matter protests, and the new allies that they both brought to the cause, there are powerful reasons for hope on both sides of the aisle. Can we stay focused on the big picture? Or will the momentum of the past beckon us back to old and flawed paradigms?
