This episode is about how to raise competent eaters, keep diet culture out of parenting and feed with trust not fear. Joining us for this conversation is someone who knows a lot about family feeding and nutrition: Anna Lutz. Anna is a Registered Dietitian in private practice in Raleigh, NC who specializes in eating disorders and pediatric/family nutrition. She is the co-creator and co-host of Sunny Side Up Nutrition and the Sunny Side Up Nutrition Podcast, where she writes and talks about nutrition and family feeding, free of diet culture.
Anna received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Duke University and Master of Public Health in Nutrition from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Anna previously worked at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC where she was an outpatient dietitian, working children and their families. Also, Anna worked on the Eating and Body Image Concerns Treatment Team at Duke University Student Health. Anna is a national speaker and delivers workshops and presentations on eating disorders, weight-inclusive healthcare, and childhood feeding.
