We have heard a lot over the years about Smart Meters here on RNIB Connect Radio.
The results of a recent OnePoll survey of 2,000 adults living with a disability, mental health condition, or on low income showed that certain struggles relating to energy meters go largely unnoticed and have proven much more difficult during the pandemic.
RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey chatted with Paralympian, TV presenter and author Ade Adepitan MBE, who is campaigning to highlight the benefits of smart meters to disabled people and especially the Accessible In-Home Display for blind and partially sighted people developed by Energy UK, smart meter manufacturer GEO, and the RNIB.
