115°C Underground, 5 Months on from Burn Off

Volunteers with the Mount Pleasant CFS were called to private land at a Tungkillo pine plantation last night to investigate smoke, five months on from a burn off.

The ground was still 115°C in several hot spots following the August event.

Captain Glynn Jackson is urging any South Australians who have conducted burn offs in the past few months to check for any remaining unseen heat. He joins Jennie Lenman in this podcast to discuss what happened.
