Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, a show by the women of Amazin’ Avenue where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space.
This week, we begin by discussing Sandy Alderson becoming the president of baseball operations after their search did not go as they hoped. We then move on to Robinson Cano’s suspension for PEDs and what that means for the team as well as Charlie Morton signing with the Braves.
Next, we talk about how excited we are for Kim Ng and how we hope to see more women get involved in baseball. We contrast her with the pitcher who must not be named and his agent and the dynamics at play between the two.
Then we had to talk about domestic violence once again, this time involving postseason star Randy Arozarena.
Finally, we wrap things up with Walk-off Wins which morphed into what Mets-related thing we are thankful for this holiday season.
