Anchor Down Podcast, Nov. 16, 2020: Kentucky Football Recap
Nov 17, 2020, 12:25 AM
Vanderbilt football played its first close and high-event game of 2020 Saturday against Kentucky, losing 38-35, in a game that showed us a lot about this Commodore team. Max Herz has some thoughts about it:
-3:00, You can't fair catch a kick you already caught, and it may have cost Vanderbilt a shot at this being a winnable game early on.
-12:00, Derek Mason had some very frank comments on Vanderbilt's defensive struggles against both the run and the pass after the game.
-20:25, Mike Wright ran the red zone offense and it worked really well. He and Ken Seals are both providing hope as freshman QBs at the moment.
-29:15, An evaluation of a strong day for the rest of the offense, as Chris Pierce continues to be a good option for Ken Seals, Keyon Henry-Brooks stars but gets hurt, and the OLine holds its own.
