According to the latest study by Spencer Stuart only 9% CHROs of the 160 companies that were analyzed served on a board of directors. That number seems to be at odds with the importance of the HR function in a post Pandemic world. That should get reflected in a higher number of organizations putting the employee's voice in the boardroom.
Contrary to the popular perception that HR has more women leaders than other organizational functions, only 31% of the 160 companies studied have a woman CHRO.
