There are people out there who want to get hold of your identity and bank details in order to defraud you of your hard earned money.

Fortunately, there is help to support you spot scams and phishing attempts, as well as report them to the authorities.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Roland Stutz, from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, to find out how they can help stop fraud before it reaches you and what to look out for if you think something isn't right about a contact you've received.
