Sep 16, 2020, 12:00 PM
This week on the Daly Dose, we wish two historical sports greats a very happy birthday, and reflect on how great it is to have sports returning!
The new AP college football is out, and we discuss why getting some new blood in the Top 25 is a really good thing. In the NBA, the Conference Finals are now set, as the Denver Nuggets shocked the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Miami Heat got a tough win against the Boston Celtics in Game 1.
Then, we are reviewing the first week of the 2020 NFL season, and examining what we learned from the opening weekend. We look at why the fans in Kansas City were booing, how to help the NFL broadcasts, why the Cleveland Browns are good for us, and why the Indianapolis Colts looked very familiar.
Tom Brady found things to be different with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Bill Belichick is up to his usual tricks with the New England Patriots, and we explain what has changed since last year for the Dallas Cowboys. The injuries are racking up, the Denver Broncos are hoping for a trade in, and we look at the best part of NFL Week 1!
Finally, with an impressive opening night by Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards Hilaire, we countdown the Top 5 debut performances by rookie running backs in NFL history!
