Gadget of the Week 1 is the Anker Soundcore Icon+ submersible bluetooth Speaker, a 20watt battery powered rechargable speaker which even works underwater, if you drop it in some, and is dust and shockproof. Offering an impressive bass response for the size of the device it can be paired with another to produce stereo playback, the accompanying app allows you to adjust the equaliser for optimum sound reproduction. 

Gadget of the Week 2 is the Crucial X6 Portable SSD, a tiny solid state drive offering 1 or 2TB of storage, depending on the model, it's both fast and reliable. Working with most devices, Windows, Mac, even smartphones, it uses USBC but can connect to older USB sockets with an adapter. This is an ideal device for allowing you to back up your data or use as extended storage. Costing around £140 for the 1TB model, this is an affordable additional storage solutions.
