Amy E Gray

Amy E. Gray has appeared in a half-dozen Jobsite Theater productions since 2014, roughly one per year. She is one of the envelope-pushing stage company’s most popular and recognizable performers – she’s an actress who’s adept at both drama and comedy, and an operatically trained singer who’s equally at home with pop songs, and rock ‘n’ roll.

Did we mention that Amy Gray is a full-time resident of Denver, Colorado?

For Tuesday’s Catalyst Sessions, this uber-talented thespian talked to us from the back yard of her Denver home, mimosa in hand; the recent wildfires, she was happy to explain, had missed the neighborhood.

Although she went west from Tampa six years ago, Gray still considers herself part of the Jobsite family, and makes it a point to return as often as she’s able, to work with the theater she called “home” for many years.

Gray was last seen in the Steve Martin comedy Meteor Shower at the end of 2019. Her other post-Denver Jobsite shows have included Silence! The Musical, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Threepenny Opera and Cloud Nine. Among others.

She also talked about her 2018 performance in the Florida Bjorkestra’s legendary Buffyfest concert.
