Mental Health, Therapy and Toxic Friendships with Vic Sanusi

Mar 04, 2020, 03:00 PM

This week we open up the conversation around mental health and are joined by a very special Dope Black Woman, Vic Sanusi. Vic is a writer, podcaster and creative who is a huge advocate for mental health, especially encouraging more black people to talk about mental health. Together they open up to talk about everything from therapy to anti depressants, to taking time away from toxic friendships and the importance of having a partner understand and support your mental health.

It gets deep in this episode, but more than anything we want to encourage our fellow brothers and sisters to talk to your friends and family about your mental health and how you're really feeling.

The Dope Black Women Podcast is all about bringing black women together to discuss the topics that matter to us, connect and support with each other and through our digital sisterhood.

Your hosts are: Leanne Levers, Roshan Roberts and Olivia Cope.
