Jul 02, 2020, 05:00 AM

**Trigger Warning*** Do you understand what the different levels of sexual assault actually are? When did you first learn about consent and what does this mean to you? With the topic of sexual assault being hot on the timeline in the last couple weeks and the conversation has been bought into the mainstream through TV shows like I May Destroy You, this week the Dope Black Women are joined by Richie Brave. He explains what coercion actually means and the fact that coercion and rape exist on the same continuum. He talks about how he calls out his friends for inappropriate behavior and they also discuss how black women can be empowered to be sex positive.

This is definitely an episode you have to share with all the young men and women in your life.

The Dope Black Women Podcast is all about bringing black women together to discuss the topics that matter to us, connect and support with each other and through our digital sisterhood.

Your hosts are: Leanne Levers, Roshan Roberts and Olivia Cope.
